Bump, or bruise or a sniffle, the Kid Clinic is ready to help parents

I don't know about your kids but my son, Ian is looking forward to school starting. He's a pretty health kid, but now and then he gets a bump, or bruise or a sniffle.

From time to time, all of our children have health issues while attending school. If this is the case for you as a parent, Campbell County Health and Campbell County School District have partnered to help you with this problem. If you find your son or daughter having a minor healthcare concern, the Kid Clinic, located in the Ready 4 Learning Building at 800 Butler Spaeth Road across from St. Matthew's Catholic Church, may be a great solution.

This unique partnership allows you access to pediatric primary medical care, behavioral health and substance abuse counseling services; the first of its kind offered in Wyoming. Transportation can also be arranged through the School District if needed after the first visit.

The clinic sees patients with immediate needs, such as strep throat or the flu and does follow-up care as needed for ongoing treatment. It is also designed for those occasions where you cannot get your child seen on short notice with your normal provider, or you haven't been successful locating a pediatric provider. All insurances are accepted and all children will be seen regardless of insurance coverage.

The Kid Clinic is one more example of Campbell County agencies working together to make life a little better and a little healthier for all our citizens, even the small citizens! Give the Kid Clinic a try this school year and tell us what you think.

I hope your child has a productive and healthy school year in 2014/2015, but if you need us, we are here for you.

Andy
