Thanks for working here Thursday: Lorna Thomas, RN, Quality, Risk and Care Management

Campbell County Health is proud of its employees, and we want the CCH family and the Campbell County community to know about the good work that they do for this organization.

Allow me to introduce you to Lorna Thomas, RN, who works in the Quality, Risk and Care Management Department. For those who don’t know, CCH's Quality Department monitors and evaluates trends within the organization, and uses that information to improve our patients' experiences and increase patient satisfaction. Lorna, who has a bachelor’s degree in nursing, has worked for CCH for 35 years—and more than 30 of those years were spent in Campbell County Memorial Hospital’s Emergency Department! Lorna has always liked helping others, and her mother encouraged her to go into health care—and we are quite fortunate to have her here. We asked Lorna what she likes most about working for CCH, and what excellence every day means to her. Check out her response:

“After all these years, I’m so proud to work for CCH. I enjoy contributing to our organization and our community. CCH is a progressive health care system, for a town the size of Gillette, Wyoming. We truly have a good group of employees who work hard to provide quality care for our community.

Excellence every day means that I’m staying focused and committed to taking good care of our community and their health care needs with a respectful and caring attitude.”

Lorna, thank you for always being part of the team as well as being dedicated to your work. We appreciate you!

Is there a CCH employee who went the extra mile or shows you extraordinary service? Give them a pat on the back by completing an Excellence Every Day card.
