Thanks for working here Thursday: Kristine Schiller, RN, ANLC, Maternal Child

Campbell County Health is proud of its employees, and we want the CCH family and the Campbell County community to know about the good work that they do for this organization.

Allow me to introduce Kristine Schiller, RN, ANLC (Advanced Nurse Lactation Consultant), who works in the Maternal Child and Labor and Delivery Department at Campbell County Memorial Hospital. Kristine received her associate’s degree in nursing from Gillette College, and has worked for Campbell County Health for 10 years. According to Josie LeMaster, Maternal Child Director, Kristine “has a way of bringing perspective to any situation—I totally enjoy her exemplary attitude, and her frank honesty.” Kristine was inspired to work in healthcare after her husband was diagnosed with hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy. “I was so impressed with the nurses who cared for him, and their knowledge, skill, compassion, and integrity. I desired to become a strong nurse, and care for others with the same dedication to the profession as the nurses that cared for my husband and me during our time of need.” We asked Kristine what she likes most about working for CCH and what excellence every day means to her. Check out her response:

“Family-centered care is one of the reasons I love working in Maternal Child. Assisting doctors with bringing new life into the world is an amazing experience and such a blessing. I also enjoy the educational opportunities provided at CCH—education is a valued and appreciated resource.

Excellence everyday means, treating each person that walks through our doors with dignity, respect, and value while providing excellent care to our patients each day.”

Thank you, Kristine for caring for our patients and for your professional attitude at work. We appreciate you.
