CCH Employee Earns Master’s Degree in Nursing Informatics

GILLETTE, WY – Tanya Arbach, RN, MS, Senior Applications Analyst at Campbell County Health, has received a Master’s Degree in Nursing Informatics from Western Governors University (WGU). Tanya began her career at CCH as a registered nurse on the Campbell County Memorial Hospital Medical/Surgical Unit, and transferred to the Information Technology department in 2007. She has been employed by CCH since November 2001.

“We are very proud of Tanya for achieving this milestone,” said Matt Sabus, Vice President of Information Technology. “Tanya is a very valued member of the IT team, constantly educating the technical team and representing the nursing viewpoint on technical projects and issues. Her degree is a great personal accomplishment by itself, and I cannot overstate how much value it brings to our team and organization. I am proud of her dedication and accomplishment and really look forward to her future contributions.”

The WGU Nursing Informatics program combines nursing science with data management, analyzation and communication, leading to data that empowers healthcare administrators to make the best choices to improve patient outcomes. The online degree program includes clinical practice experiences such as real-time simulation using immersive virtual reality training.
