Thanks for Working Here This Week: Will Nokes

Meet Will Nokes, Security Officer. Will has worked for CCH for three years. He aspired to a career at CCH primarily because of his aunt, Laboratory Director Lynn Todd.

“She has always talked about CCH as a place with a positive environment,” said Will. “it’s a place where people want to work.”

Security officers have many responsibilities at CCH, but patient, visitor and staff safety is their top priority. They do random patrols of all areas of the organization, including offsite locations, to perform visual inspections and check doors. They monitor almost 100 security cameras, and can review footage that has already been recorded, or view live footage in real time. They work collaboratively with law enforcement to exchange information and conduct investigations. Security officers also work with patients and visitors to de-escalate any potential conflicts and provide assistance as needed.

Will feels pride knowing that he can make a positive impact on employees and patients every day.

“I love working here,” says Will. “I get a little taste of everything that goes on at CCH. I have learned about Radiology scans, Lab tests, and the routine in the Emergency department, while working alongside other departments.”

When he’s not at work, Will enjoys paintball and fishing.

Thank you Will, for your work with our employees, patients, and visitors every day at Campbell County Health. We appreciate all that you do.
