NICU Nurse Ryan Boothe Joins CCMG Main Clinic as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

GILLETTE, Wyo. - Nov. 3, 2023 - Campbell County Medical Group (CCMG) is thrilled to welcome Ryan Boothe to the Main Clinic team as a pediatric nurse practitioner.

Originally from the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois, Boothe began her journey to Gillette with a vacation to Hulett, Wyoming, that captured her heart. She was drawn by the people, the nature, and the proximity to the mountains. That experience ultimately led to her relocating to Wyoming.

"You can go in one direction, and you're in the mountains," said Boothe. "You can go in another direction, and again, you're in the mountains. There's space to have lots of horses, and it's a truly beautiful place to live."

Boothe had been interested in both business and healthcare before becoming a nurse practitioner. She ultimately decided that nursing was her passion and attended Gillette College where she completed her nursing preceptorship in the Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Campbell County Health, an experience that ignited her passion for pediatric care. Soon after, she received her Bachelor of Nursing, graduating Summa Cum Laude from Colorado Technical University. Boothe's six years as a Level II NICU and postpartum nurse inspired her to attend the University of Alabama at Birmingham's Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner program, where she received her Master of Science in Nursing.

Boothe knew she wanted to provide a higher level of care to pediatric populations and practice at CCH. She performed one of her rotations here at CCH and the rest at the Children's of Alabama Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU), Neuro-Oncology, and GI Outpatient Clinic. During her program, she received the Outstanding Graduate Student Award through the University of Alabama at Birmingham’s School of Nursing. She is excited to bring her wealth of experience back to Gillette to provide exceptional care to her community.

"Being around babies and kiddos and treating them – you're taking care of the most innocent, and they deserve the very best care they can get," Boothe expressed.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Boothe has a deep love for horseback riding. While her academic pursuits limited her free time until recently, she finds joy in reading, barrel racing, and spending quality time with her stepson, and her husband, CCH Security Manager Adam Boothe.

Ryan Boothe's experience at CCH as a nurse, combined with her passion for pediatric care, makes her a phenomenal addition to the pediatrics team. Her addition further strengthens CCH's commitment to providing exceptional healthcare services to the Northeast Wyoming community.
