Kyle Hunter Joins Campbell County Medical Group ENT Clinic

GILLETTE, Wyo. - September 13, 2023 - Campbell County Medical Group is pleased to announce the newest addition to its Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) Clinic. Kyle Hunter, PA, a Gillette native, has returned to his hometown to join the team, bringing his wealth of ENT experience and passion for healthcare to the Northeast Wyoming region.

Kyle's journey to a career in healthcare has been deeply rooted in his local community. His passion for healthcare was sparked through a mentorship opportunity with the radiology department, where he worked closely with his future father-in-law, the radiology manager at the time.

He fondly recalled, "I did a healthcare mentorship class here at the hospital in the radiology department with the radiology manager at the time who would become my father-in-law."

He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Wyoming. He began his healthcare journey close to home by working in the Campbell County Memorial Hospital Laboratory for a year and a half. During his time in the hospital, Kyle’s passion for healthcare was fueled further by interacting with and caring for patients from the unique perspective of the laboratory.

The problem-solving and interpersonal aspects of healthcare appealed most to Kyle and led him to desire to become a provider. He took additional courses at Gillette College to accelerate his journey, enabling him to apply to physician assistant (PA) programs. He completed his PA studies at Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, Tennessee.

Building trust and developing collaborative relationships with patients are core parts of Kyle's approach to patient care. He enjoys the complexity of ENT and the wide range of patients he encounters in his work.

"I developed a niche for seeing patients with dizziness and vertigo problems," he explained. "I enjoy all aspects of ENT, and I've been able to grow in the specialty and hone different skills and procedures."

For the past 18 years, Kyle has practiced in Colorado. He has come full circle, returning to Gillette to serve his community. He and his wife's family reside in Gillette. This deep-rooted connection significantly influenced their decision to return to their hometown. He shares, "It's so nice to have the opportunity to return to Gillette and use what I have learned to serve the community."

Kyle enjoys spending time with his family, watching his kids’ games, playing golf, and engaging in outdoor activities outside his work. With his return to Gillette, he is eager to get involved and reconnected in the community and enjoy the outdoor opportunities that his hometown has to offer.

Campbell County Medical Group is excited to welcome Kyle Hunter, PA, back to Gillette and looks forward to the positive impact he will have on patient care in the ENT clinic. His commitment to building relationships and dedication to healthcare make him a valued addition to Excellence Every Day at Campbell County Health.
