Campbell County Medical Group (CCMG) is excited to announce the addition of Dr. Cameron Davis, DO, to its Complex and Internal Medicine team. Originally from Alabama, Davis brings a passion for helping others and deep sense of purpose in his work to the Northeast Wyoming region.

After spending much of his life in the southeastern United States, Davis was looking for a change when he learned about the opportunity to join the CCMG team. His visit to Gillette left a lasting impression.

"I liked the sound of Gillette, the opportunity here, and I decided to check it out,” shared Davis. “I loved it here, the team was great, and I immediately felt comfortable."

Davis’ journey into medicine was shaped by a pivotal experience after college when he spent a year doing missionary work in Tanzania, which profoundly impacted his life’s direction.

"When I came back from that trip, I knew medicine was the best route for me—it was the way I was meant to help people," he said.

Davis eventually found his calling in internal medicine, drawn by his desire to build long-term relationships with patients and provide the ongoing care essential to their well-being.

"The other hardships of life can be overshadowed when you're unhealthy, so good health is essential," he noted.

He shared that sometimes patients are facing low-points and challenges in their health and that it is rewarding to play a role in serving those patients and helping them get back on track. He also shared how he feels a deep sense of purpose in the work he does.

Outside of his practice, Davis is always looking to expand his skills and hobbies. He recently took up woodworking, enjoys working on his car, and loves to travel and spend time outdoors.
