Lexie Honey, LCSW

About Lexie

Lexie has a Bachelors of Social Work from the University of Wyoming and a Masters of Social Work from the University of Southern California. She had been working in residential treatment when the opportunity arose to work in health care, so she jumped at the opportunity and has “been so happy I did so since.”

Lexie has been inspired in her field by Leona McGraw, who works at the YES House and was her boss for three years. “Leona is one of the most compassionate people that I have ever met, and she is determined to help as many people as possible. Every boy that went through the Boys Cottage felt only love from Leona, and that has inspired me to never give up.”

Lexie says she spends much of her spare time at home working on different crafty things such as crocheting. She says she is still working on finding activities to do now that she is finally done with school.
