GILLETTE, WY – Two new parenting class sessions begin Wednesday, September 5 at Campbell County Memorial Hospital. Nurturing Parenting and Becoming a Love and Logic Parent® are both sponsored by CCMH Behavioral Health Services.
Becoming a Love and Logic Parent® is a seven-week program designed to give families practical skills that can be used immediately to address issues such as disciplining toddlers and how to stop fighting and bickering between siblings.
Nurturing Parenting is a 15-session program that gives parents and children ways to encourage appropriate behaviors, build self-esteem and self-concept and learn to have fun as a family.
Both programs meet at Hillcrest Elementary School, 1500 Butler Spaeth Rd. in Gillette. A meal is included at each session, and childcare is provided for children under age 5. Children ages 6-11 attend the children’s curriculum. Contact Jessica Boyd at 688.5026 or jessica.boyd@ccmh.net for information about course fees and to register. Please do not call Hillcrest School for program information.
