Campbell County Health.
I have worked for CCMH for the last 17 years and have enjoyed it. I have seen the organization grow and become more complex as we take on more healthcare challenges and seek more opportunities to serve our community. Hospitals are profoundly important entities, and CCMH has proven itself to be a vitally important part of our home.
But times and circumstances change, and organizations must change to meet their current circumstances. We are no longer only a hospital. We are an organization providing a network of health care services to our community and really to all of northeastern Wyoming. If you haven't looked lately, you might be surprised by the services you have right here at home. We have almost 80 physicians, physician assistants and nurse practitioners in over 20 specialties are committed to your wellbeing right here at home. We also have a unique relationship with Gillette College in terms of partnering with them on supporting the nursing program. The term hospital just doesn't describe us adequately any longer. For that reason, it is time for a change.
Our new name is only the beginning.
In steps Campbell County Health. This new name describes where we are, who we are, and what we do. I promise you, we will in no way lose or diminish our identity as a hospital, but we will be able to let our community and others around us know that we are a comprehensive healthcare provider ready to serve them and their families in a multitude of ways. The name change does present some short-term challenges as we change signage and stationery, but we have a plan to make that happen over the next six to 18 months and at a reasonable cost.
You will be seeing more about our name change, but the name change is just the beginning. Stay tuned as we continue our journey to Excellence Every Day. With all of the services I mentioned above, and a great medical staff, we are a healthcare system in northeastern Wyoming committed to meeting and exceeding all the challenges ahead of us. Our past is to be deeply appreciated and respected, and our future is to be anticipated with enthusiasm.
Campbell County Health. A hospital and a whole lot more.
