Channa Medrano, CCMH's January 2014 Employee of the Month

CCMH is proud of its employees! And, to show it, we've decided to showcase the employees who are recognized as Employees of the Month in the CCMH Health Connect Blog. These employees are nominated by patients, as well as CCMH leadership, physicians and staff.

Campbell County Health would like to congratulate Channa Medrano, Rehabilitation Services, as the employee of the month for January 2014.

A patient requesting to participate in one of Channa’s rehabilitation programs came with some very significant medical concerns. After careful evaluation, Channa decided the patient was fit to participate in the program. Channa monitored her carefully and noted that the patient did not look well. When Channa asked how the patient was feeling, Channa learned that the patient was experiencing cardiac symptoms. Channa immediately called for an ambulance and got the patient safely transferred to the Emergency Department. Without Channa’s constant and careful monitoring, this might have been tragic.

Channa, thank you for monitoring this patient closely and giving her quality care.
