GILLETTE, WY – The Campbell County Health (CCMH) Board of Trustees invites the community, residents and employees to vote for their favorite name: Seasons Living and Rehabilitation Center or The Legacy Living and Rehabilitation Center.
Focus group members were asked in advance to gather attributes from other community members and bring them to the table. Jackie O'Hara with Jet Marketing, a CCMH strategic partner, facilitated the naming session with the ultimate outcome of developing two names to present to the CCMH Board of Trustees and then submit to for public vote. Considerations were given to the services the new facility will provide including long-term care, short-term rehabilitation and adult day services and that the current facility cares for a significant number of people who are under 55 years old. Sense of community was the overall theme, with the attributes of compassion and quality, dignity and respect, optimal and purposeful living, lively and vibrant, commitment and loyalty, support of residents, patients and families, and light and bright were all considered important to the focus group members.
The voting window is March 28 – April 14, 2014 and can be cast online at www.ccmh.net/ltcvote or by paper ballot at the Campbell County Public Library, Campbell County Senior Center, CCMH Main Lobby or CCMH Pioneer Manor main dining room.
Members of the focus group represent a broad spectrum of the community: Nello Williams, member-at-large; Alice Bratton, member-at-large; Bruce Roosa, Pioneer Manor Advisory Board member; Robin Bailey, member-at-large; Cathrine Gallilee, Pioneer Manor Advisory Board member; Nachelle McGrath, CC Healthcare Foundation Director; Dr. Bernadette Meade, Pioneer Manor Medical Director; Jonni Belden, Pioneer Manor Administrator; Karen Clarke, CCMH Marketing and Community Relations Manager/ex-officio; Nancy Tarver, CCMH Board of Trustees; Harvey Jackson, CCMH Board of Trustees; Mr. Andy Fitzgerald, CCMH CEO/ex-officio.
