Thanks for working here Thursday: Wendy, Cardiac Rehabilitation

Campbell County Health is proud of its employees, and we want the CCH family and the Campbell County community to know about the good work that they do for this organization.

Allow me to introduce Wendy, the Cardiac Rehabilitation Department Secretary at Campbell County Health. Wendy has wanted to work in healthcare in one way or another for as long as she could remember, so she became a certified medical transcriptionist and worked from home for several years. As her children got older, Wendy realized that she wanted to contribute more as well as interact with patients, rather than just in the background at home. She's been with CCH for more than a year and says that she looks forward to coming to work every day. She credits much of that to establishing relationships with the patients who go through Cardiac Rehab, as well as working with a fantastic team of nurses and respiratory therapists. We asked Wendy what she likes most about working in Cardiac Rehab and what excellence every day means to her. Check out her response:

"Cardiac Rehab patients are here for several recurring visits during their treatment, which allows us to form relationships with them and by the time they are ready to graduate from the program. I enjoy getting to know them, and I feel that they really understand how much we care about them and their health.

When I started to see and hear the incredible improvements of CCH's reputation in the community I knew I wanted to be a part of this organization and the team that provides "Excellence Every Day" to the residents of Gillette and surrounding communities. Excellence Every Day means that I'm providing the best possible service and experience to every single patient from the time they walk in the door to the time they leave. It also means exhibiting excellent teamwork and support to all of my coworkers, not just in my department but to all departments in the organization."
