Campbell County Health is proud of its employees, and we want the CCH family and the Campbell County community to know about the good work that they do for this organization.
Allow me to introduce Ellen, the Executive Assistant in the CCH Administration Department—in other words, Ellen is the right-hand woman to our CEO Andy Fitzgerald. She has worked for CCH for five years. Ellen attended Southern California College of Medical and Dental Careers and completed a program in Medical Office Management. This certification opened the doors for Ellen to have a career in healthcare. Andy told us that "Ellen works tirelessly to help me serve the CCH Board of Trustees, takes minutes for important meetings, and has great customer service skills." We asked Ellen what inspired her to work in healthcare and what excellence every day means to her. Check out her response:
"I have been involved in healthcare since I was a teenager—I volunteered at the community hospital as a candy striper and also volunteered at the Goldie Floberg Center, a home for children with Down syndrome. I now have the privilege of working with CCH leadership and the Board of Trustees and witness every day the commitment they have for patients, staff and the organization. I am proud to be part of CCH and its' dedication to serving the community.
To me 'Excellence Every Day' means that I live out my faith by performing my duties with a positive attitude accompanied by honesty, hard work, attention to detail, and dedication. My goal for excellence is to provide Mr. Fitzgerald, executive leadership, staff and the Board of Trustees with the support and assistance they require in order to provide the community with continued excellence in healthcare."
Thank you, Ellen, for your kindness and your dedication to our organization. You are a wonderful team member of our organization.
Is there a CCH employee who went the extra mile or shows you extraordinary service? Give them a pat on the back by completing an Excellence Every Day card.
