Thanks for working here Thursday: Chappy, Chaplain Services

Campbell County Health is proud of its employees, and we want the CCH family and the Campbell County community to know about the good work that they do for this organization.

Say hello to Bob Rudichar, or Chappy as many people refer to him around CCH. Chappy is the Chaplain Services Coordinator in the Patient & Resident Experience Department. He's been our chaplain for 17 years, has been involved with chaplains' services for 22 years (total), and has been in ministerial positions for a total of 42 years—he is currently a Pastor with Vineyard Christian Fellowship in Pine Haven, Wyo. Chappy has also been an important part of our Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) Team for the past 13 years. Chappy hasn't always been a chaplain—he spent three years in the Military Police Corps stationed with the U.S. Army Executive Flight Detachment (Army One) providing Presidential Security during Richard M. Nixon's term. We asked Chappy what he likes best about working at CCH, and what excellence every day means to him. Check out his response:

"CCH has a professional, yet friendly atmosphere, I have great camaraderie with medical staff and there are always opportunities around to expand people-service through new ideas and inspiration. Working/serving here has been very rewarding. Having an incredible cadre of Volunteer Chaplains and Abiders to assist with our assignments has also made my time here a delight. They have invested thousands of hours and have poured themselves into my life as well as that of our clientele. Without these people, much less would have been accomplished and fewer people blessed.

To me, excellence every day is not so much what I do, but who I am. As much as I appreciate all the training, incentives, and prepping to become a more customer-centered employee, I find it, in the nature of my line of work, to be and do the best I can in any situation. Any less reflects poorly on my relationship with God."

Thank you, Chappy for your dedication to this organization and to the spiritual health of our community. We are proud to have you on our team.
