Campbell County Health is proud of its employees, and we want the CCH family and the Campbell County community to know about the good work that they do for this organization.
Meet Mary Ann, RN, who works in Campbell County Health's Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab), which is where doctors can diagnose and treat heart conditions using catheters instead of surgery. Mary Ann has been with CCH for nearly 10 years. The Cath Lab is a brand new service for this community, and Mary Ann is very excited and proud to be a part of that. Before the Cath Lab opened, patients with heart attacks were sent to neighboring hospitals; now, doctors here are able to treat them.
We asked Mary Ann what inspired her to work in healthcare and what she likes most about working at CCH. Her response:
"I always knew that I wanted to work with people. I chose nursing because it's a career that is gratifying and rewarding. It brings you a lot of joy when you know that you helped to make a difference in someone's life who was going through something difficult.
The people at CCH are what make this job so great. The staff goes above and beyond every single day to make sure that we provide the best care in our community."
Thank you, Mary Ann, for doing your best to provide the best and safest care to every patient you help at CCH. We appreciate you!
