Introduction to Phlebotomy Course Offered in February

GILLETTE, WY – Campbell County Health (CCH) Professional Development is offering an Introduction to Phlebotomy course beginning February 17, 2016. The course is designed to provide the basic skills to become a phlebotomist (drawing blood in a laboratory or other setting), and includes classroom instruction and hands-on experience.

Course applications, including a request for a personal statement, are available online at www.cchwyo.org/phleb or at the Professional Development office on the Firth floor of Campbell County Health (CCMH). Applications are accepted through Wednesday, December 23, 2015, and final admissions will be determined by an interview process in January. Applications received after December 23, 2015 will not be accepted.

Cost of the course is $300 per person, which includes textbook and supplies, payable prior to the start of the course. Course dates are: February 17, 24, and March 2, 9, and 16 from 6-9:15 pm at the Health Science Education Center at Gillette College.
