Sarah Gregory would much rather see snow than the rainy winter weather in Seattle. This Gillette native is the third of four medical clerkship students from the University of Washington Medical School that are completing rotations at CCMG OB GYN Specialists this fall.
This isn’t Sarah’s first experience at OB GYN Specialists—she spent six weeks shadowing at the clinic in 2011 with Drs. Angela Biggs and Jeffrey Anderson. Sarah is considering OB as a specialty because it’s one of the few areas where a practitioner can do surgical procedures and provide preventative care for patients.
Sarah’s parents still live in Gillette, and she’s happy to be able to stay with them during her rotation. The WWAMI medical education program requires Wyoming students to practice in the state for three years after they complete their residency, so we may see Sarah back in Gillette in the future.
