Thanks for working here Thursday: Theresa Kautz, MA, ATC, COHC, Wellness

Campbell County Health is proud of its employees, and we want the CCH family and the Campbell County community to know about the good work that they do for this organization.

Meet Theresa Kautz, a Coordinator for Campbell County Health Wellness, a department that works to reduce health risks and promote overall wellness in our community. For as long as Theresa can remember, she has been intrigued by the human body—more specifically the mechanics on how an injury/illness occurs, so she pursued a career in health. Theresa has a Bachelor's of Science in Athletic Training, Master of Arts in Sports Administration, is Athletic Trainer Certified (ATC) and is a Certified Occupational Hearing Conservationist (COHC)—and she's worked for CCH for five years. We asked Theresa what she likes most about working for CCH, and what excellence every day means to her. Check out her answer:

"It is amazing to have the opportunity to work for CCH! I grew up in Gillette, and remember having to go elsewhere to receive any type of specialized service. Today, several of the specialized services are offered right here at CCH.

Wellness is an essential component of the organization, and plays a crucial role in patient care and overall health. We reach out to thousands of patients a year with healthCHECK+, Corporate Wellness Screenings, and Health Coaching. Each member of the Wellness team all shares a passion in preventative care, which is crucial component to any health care system. I think we are a phenomenal team and make communication our number one priority to each and every patient.

Excellence Every Day to me means being the best that I can be each and every day. In doing this, I strive to provide the best care possible for all patients no matter what. In Wellness it is all about the patient and what their goals are to be to lead a healthier life on any level. It is rewarding to work with our patients and help give them the tools that they need to excel."

A little while ago, A.J. Tomer, RN, from Cloud Peak Energy reached out to CCH to let us know how pleasant and accommodating Theresa is, and that she does everything she can to help Cloud Peak Energy improve the health of their employees.
