Thanks for working here Thursday: Kathy McCoy, Materials Management

Campbell County Health is proud of its employees, and we want the CCH family and the Campbell County community to know about the good work that they do for this organization.

Say hello to Kathy McCoy, a Purchasing Specialist in Materials Management at CCH. For those who don’t know, Materials Management is responsible for purchasing and delivering supplies throughout the organization—so, everything the patient touches comes to them by way of this department. Kathy has a Business Degree from Gillette College and has been with CCH for 25 years. “I have always been a very focused and busy person. Working at CCH definitely keeps my mind and fingers active,” she says. We asked Kathy what she likes most about working at CCH and what excellence every day means to her. Check out her response:

“There is never a slow day in Materials Management, and there always seems to be a challenge that we are faced with. It’s those challenges and the solutions that we reach that make working here all worthwhile.

When I think about excellence every day, I believe it means that I’m doing and being the best that I can be, every day.”
