Campbell County Health is proud of its employees, and we want the CCH family and the Campbell County community to know about the good work that they do for this organization.
Meet Christina Dierking, CDM, CFPP, who work as a supervisor in CCH’s Nutrition Services Department. The Nutrition Services team provides progressive nutritional care to Campbell County Memorial Hopsital patients and residents at The Legacy Living and Rehabilitation Center. Nutrition Services also manages the:
- Cafeteria services for employees and visitors
- CCMH Coffee Shoppe and The Legacy Bistro
- Medical Nutrition Therapy services and Nutritional counseling for the community, as well as serving the Heptner Cancer Center, Dialysis Center and patients who are in the Maternal Child Unit
- And provides food service to Early Childhood Center, Close to Home Hospice Hospitality House and in-house catering to all departments
Christina has earned her Dietary Manager Certification through the University of North Dakota, and has worked for CCH for the last 16 years. “A treasured friend advised me to apply at the hospital after a really bad day at a previous job. After applying and getting an interview, I discovered that CCH would be a career to be proud of and always be a challenge to inspire growth,” she says.
She calls her colleague and Director Lisa Miller her health care hero. “From my first day, Lisa has been my mentor. I value her leadership and try to carry out all that we have learned together, to the best of my ability. I truly value every day with her,” Christina says.
When she’s not working, Christina says that she loves riding four-wheelers, snowmobiles, snow bikes and traveling to visit family. “But most of all, I have a wonderful husband who I love to spend time with in a new home that we just recently purchased,” she says.
We asked Christina to tell us what she likes most about working for CCH, and what excellence every day means to her. Check out her response:
“I feel most proud to work for an organization that gives employees opportunities to grow and advance. I like that every day in Nutrition Services is different and challenging. And, I work with some great people who are willing to be flexible and adjust to each day.
Excellence every day has several meanings to me. First and foremost, it is arriving every day with a positive attitude and passing it around to others. I also believe excellence every day is having that same attitude outside of CCH. We represent CCH wherever we are! Also, excellence every day is thinking outside the box. We can’t always do the same things, we have to adjust to improve.”
Christina, we are proud to have you on our team. Thank you for all that you do for us!
