CCH Caregiver Support Group Moves Meeting Location

GILLETTE, WY—Campbell County Health’s (CCH) Caregiver Support Group has moved to The Legacy Living and Rehabilitation Center, 1000 S. Douglas Highway, Gillette. The group meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month at 6:30 pm.

Facilitators for the support group are Bruce Roosa and Janet Kobielusz, local community members who are, or have been caregivers themselves. Meetings offer short informational presentations on a variety of caregiving topics followed by personal experience sharing and group discussion. Occasionally guest speakers from the healthcare community will provide information relevant to caregiving.

The support group provides information for caregivers on how to take care of themselves and their loved one, along with sharing advice and understanding with others in a similar situation. The group is free and open to anyone in the community who cares for someone, regardless of where they live or the need for caregiving.

• March 14--The special therapy needs of Alzheimer’s and dementia patients; presented by Ryan Schrock, physical therapist at CCH Rehab Services.
