Thanks for working here Thursday: Tammy Eadus, CCMH Radiology

Campbell County Health is proud of its employees, and we want the CCH family and the Campbell County community to know about the good work that they do for this organization.

Have you met Tammy Eadus? Tammy works as a Department Secretary for Campbell County Memorial Hospital’s Radiology Department—in fact, she’s been with CCH for 17 years, and in health care since she was 21 year’s old. Tammy went through one year of nursing school at Casper College, and then went to work at a few doctors’ offices before landing the gig in Radiology. Tammy takes care of scheduling exams for patients, as well as talking either with their physician’s office or the patients themselves.

Tammy says the part she loves most about her job is how she has been able to develop relationships with patients throughout the years, as well as trying to anticipate what they need, and what she can do for them. “I love my job. I like to encourage others to always remember that we are here to help others in any capacity we can—we are working at CCH to make a difference in their life,” says Tammy.

When Tammy isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and other family, as well as traveling. And, she really enjoys football—GO Broncos!

We asked Tammy what she likes most about working for CCH, and what excellence every day means to her. Check out her response:

“In Radiology, we’re a family—we have a great relationship with everyone, from the techs and radiologists, to the secretaries and management. We take care of each other, from the young starters to the older and more seasoned veterans. It’s not just a job when you work with such great colleagues.

For me, excellence every day means that I’m doing everything possible to make our patients the top priority—they are not just a number to me. I strive to treat people the best I am able to every day, and I encourage others to do the same.”
