Join Campbell County Health in welcoming the 2017 New Year’s baby!
Proud parents Daryl and Amanda Huseby announce baby girl Aurora Shane Huseby, who was born Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at 8:17 am in Gillette, Wyoming. She weighed 7 pounds, 2.5 ounces and was 20 inches long. Aurora’s middle name is in honor of her uncle on her father’s side who passed away a few years ago. She is Daryl and Amanda’s first child.
Campbell County Health volunteers donated a gift basket filled with baby items to the family.
Both Amanda and Daryl were surprised to be the New Year Baby on January 3, and were very pleased with the care they received from Dr. Jennifer Linden, FACOG, of Campbell County Medical Group OB GYN Specialists, and the caring nursing staff at the Campbell County Memorial Hospital (CCMH) Maternal Child Department.
From January 1 to December 31, 2016, 770 babies were born at CCMH, slightly down from 852 in 2015. Of those babies born:
- 398 were girls
- 372 were boys
- 11 sets of twins
- Six Leap Day babies
