Campbell County, Wyoming citizens donated nearly $5,100 to put Christmas lights on the trees at Lasting Legacy Park. The kickoff lighting ceremony will be held Tuesday, November 21 at 4:30 pm at the park, 800 S. Douglas Highway in Gillette. Members of the community are invited to be part of the lighting ceremony.
Back story: A few citizens approached Campbell County Parks and Recreation about adding lights to Lasting Legacy Park for the community and particularly the residents who live at The Legacy Living and Rehabilitation Center. Because of their efforts, Campbell County now has a new holiday tradition that will put smiles on the faces of The Legacy residents every year.
