Robert Quintana, CCMH Directory of Pharmacy, talks about the CCMH Inpatient Room Project

Robert Quintana, RPh, Pharmacy Director at Campbell County Memorial Hospital in Gillette, Wyoming, talks about how the new inpatient rooms were designed with the patient at the center. Employees from all over the organization looked at how to deliver the best patient care, from making sure supplies were kept close, to where the bed and other equipment was located, to how to make sure the room is cleaned properly. The new design also puts doctors and pharmacists close together, and close to nurses so everyone can communicate more effectively. The result—more time at the bedside by caregivers.
