We've all seen the memes on winter weather in Wyoming... One of my favorites is: Wyoming. Where even the snow gets tired of the snow.
All joking aside, winter weather in Wyoming can become alarming if you're not prepared. And, not only for travel.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have a host of tips available to help you prevent illness caused by extreme cold by taking extra steps to make sure you heat your home safely. These tips can be found here: Indoor Safety During a Winter Storm, and covers topics such as:
- heat your home safely
- light your home safely
- use generators safely
- cook safely
- conserve heat
- monitor body temperature
- keep a water supply
- eat and drink wisely
