Campbell County Health is proud of its employees, and we want the CCH family and the Campbell County, Wyoming community to know about the good work that they do for this organization.
Allow us to introduce Joanne Klein, a Medical Equipment Specialist for Home Medical Resources in Gillette, Wyoming. She’s been with CCH for nearly 10 years. For those who don’t know, Home Medical Resources is an HQAA-accredited provider of durable medical equipment, supplies and services. This is the place where patients can purchase breast pumps, nebulizers, portable oxygen, rehab supplies such as compression socks and wraps, sleep therapy CPAPs, and walkers, among many other supplies with a physician order.
According to Joanne, she’s always liked helping people who couldn’t help themselves, or just needed an extra hand, which was why she decided a career in healthcare was best suited for her. “I was always around people who worked in and for the local hospital or group homes, which was why I became a CNA,” she says. As a CNA, Joanne worked for a Home Health and Hospice Company, a Sleep Lab, and then finally landed in durable medical equipment.
When she’s not at work, Joanne says that she likes to spend as much time as possible with her husband riding his motorcycle or her trike whenever they can. The pair also enjoy getting together with friends for game nights, and are on a winter bowling league on Saturday nights. “Mostly, we spend quiet time at home with our three Shih Tzu’s—they have us fully trained to their beck and call,” she says.
We asked Joanne what excellence every day means to her. Check out her response:
“I am fully aware that you just can’t please everyone or make everyone happy; but I want to try—that to me is excellence every day. I want to work and surround myself with people who also want to try and be successful at it. That’s why I am here. It’s fulfilling to hear our customers thank us for helping them get what’s needed for them.
I work with some of the greatest people; all dedicated to helping people who need us. I really enjoy my job and the people I meet.”
Please join us in giving Joanne a big round of applause. We are proud to have you on our team and appreciate you!
