Campbell County Health is proud of its employees, and we want the CCH family and the Campbell County community to know about the good work that they do for this organization.
Allow us to introduce Lorri Lang who is the Post Box Exchange (PBX) operator in the Patient Access (Registration) and Patient Accounting department. As a PBX operator, Lorrie manages multiple phone lines in the hospital and for CCH. She also helps patients and visitors find where they need to go in the hospital.
Lorri has worked for CCH for just over 10 years. She was inspired to work in health care by her grandfather. “He always wanted me to go to nursing school but at that time my children were young and I thought that raising them was more important. Although, I never made it to nursing school I am glad that I interviewed for this position and am happy to be where I’m at today,” she says.
Lorri calls Missy Poloncic her health care hero. “Missy was always so upbeat and positive in every way. She was always there to answer any questions and if she didn’t know the answer, she would do some research and answer it to the best of her ability. I found Missy to be very encouraging,” she says.
Outside of work, Lorri says she loves spending time with her family first and foremost. “I am a photographer, so I love spending time in the bighorns with my husband, horses and four Aussies. I also am a Nana to 11 beautiful grandchildren, who keep me very busy!” she says.
We asked Lorri what she likes most about working at CCH, and what excellence every day means to her. Check out her response:
“I think seeing the patients and customers come to my window, and visit gives me pride in my work here at CCH. They like seeing a familiar face and for some of them I am that face. I believe that it takes a team to work in health care, and I am a small part of the big picture. I am proud to be an employee here at CCH and work with so many people that pride themselves in giving the best care possible to our patients. I love my co-workers both in patient accounting and access, they are the absolute best. We are like family and I can count on them not only here at work but outside of work.
I believe excellence every day is providing the best service and care, each and every day for our patients.”
Thank you, Lorri for being such an important part of our team. We appreciate you.
