Walk to End Alzheimer's comes to Gillette

Alzheimer's disease is the nation's sixth-leading cause of death. To help educate and raise awareness in our community about Alzheimer's, staff at The Legacy Living and Rehabilitation Center have brought the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's to Gillette, Wyoming.

Held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s® is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research.

The Walk to End Alzheimer's will take place on Saturday, September 8. Registration begins at 8:30 am; a ceremony will take place at 9:30 am; and the walk will commence at 10 am. This will all begin at Lasting Legacy Park, 800 S. Douglas Highway in Gillette. Teams are currently being saught to help fundraise for the cause, and those interested in creating or joining a team can learn more about the event here. And, be sure to join the event on Facebook.
