Applications open for Summer 2019 CCH Camp Med

GILLETTE, WY – Campbell County Health (CCH) is hosting three sessions of Camp Med this summer. Camp Med is a one-day camp to introduce 11 and 12 year olds to careers in health care. Participants will have experiences in surgery, radiology, laboratory and nursing, as well as learn CPR.

This summer’s Camp Med schedule:

• Tuesday, June 25 from 9 am-5 pm
• Tuesday, July 23 from 9 am-5 pm
• Tuesday, August 6 from 9 am-5 pm

All sessions take place at Campbell County Memorial Hospital (CCMH), 501 S. Burma Avenue in Gillette, Wyoming.

Camp Med is free for participants; however, space is limited—there is room for only 12 participants per session. Applications are taken on a first-come, first-served basis, and can be downloaded at www.cchwyo.org/campmed. Applications are due on Friday, May 24, and must be returned to CCH Volunteer Coordinator Chris Buxton in Volunteer Services, located on the ground floor of the hospital in Community Relations, Monday-Friday, 8 am-5 pm.
