Campbell County Health is proud of its employees, and we want the CCH family and the Campbell County, Wyoming community to know about the good work that they do for this organization.
Meet Hollie Alexander, RN, BSN, CHPN, the Clinical Supervisor for CCH Home Health and Hospice. Hollie has her bachelor's degree in nursing (and is working on master's degree), and is a Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse. She’s worked for CCH for nearly five years, but has been in health care for 15 y ears, and was inspired to work in health care because she has a passion to help others. “I received my CNA license in high school and started working at a clinic filling records after graduation. I continued to work in clinic settings until I earned my nursing degree. I couldn’t imagine doing anything else,” she says.
Hollie’s health care hero is Ashley Fraser, her boss, mentor and friend. “Ashely is beyond dedicated to the success of the department. This includes excellent patient outcomes as well as engaged staff,” Hollie says. “She is my cheerleader and a resource anytime I need her and helps me keep the big picture in mind. I thank her for my success as a nurse with her guidance, support, and knowledge.”
When Hollie isn’t work, she loves spending time with her family. “We enjoy camping, being at the lake, or anything outdoors during the summer. My 6-year-old, Kasen, keeps me very busy with his love for all sports,” she says.
We asked Hollie what she likes most about working for CCH, and what excellence every day means to her. Check out her response:
“I am a part of a strong leadership team that has all worked in the front line in this department. We take time to listen to the needs and concerns of our patient and our employees. Every part of the team needs to be valued and work together to get the best results.
I take pride in the sensitive, compassionate care that is provided in Hospice care at CCH. It is very rewarding to bring comfort to both patients and family members during their most vulnerable times in life. We give them hope.
Excellence Every day to me means giving your all every day, every time. We need to make sure that the care that we are providing would meet our own expectations, every time.”
We couldn’t agree more, Hollie. Thank you for all you do for our patients. We appreciate you.
