Campbell County Health is proud of its employees, and we want the CCH family and the Campbell County, Wyoming community to know about the good work that they do for this organization.
Introducing Britni Lane, a Human Resources Specialist who has been with CCH for a year. For those who don’t know, a human resources department is a critical component of employee well-being in any organization—in fact, HR responsibilities include payroll, benefits, hiring, firing, and keeping up to date with state and federal tax laws. Britni says she joined the HR team because, “the possibilities and opportunities are nearly endless in healthcare, even when you’re part of the behind the scenes.”
Britni calls her director, and CCH Legend, Noamie Niemitalo and Loretta Hardy her health care heroes. “I worked for Noamie at the Early Childhood Center for five years and now have the privilege of working for her in Human Resources. It’s a whole different ball game when you work for a great leader. It changes your whole outlook and perspective on your job and coming to work every day. I won the lottery of bosses; no doubt,” she says. “Loretta took me under her wing from day one and has been incredibly kind and helpful showing me the ropes. Her knowledge of her job and how well she does it is inspiring and she has the best customer service around!”
When Britni isn’t at work, she likes to soak up as much time with her children as possible. “I’m also a little bit of a craft and baking junky, mostly a home body though. In the summer, I spend a lot of time in Montana with my family or on the lake enjoying time with my friends and family,” she says.
We asked Britni what she likes most about working for CCH, and what excellence every day means to her. Check out her response:
“I love that I get to be at the front line of making a first impression for CCH. Many people who are coming in here are nervous or scared looking for a job or starting one, and my hope is that I ease that fear for them a little and make it a warm, welcoming environment—even for people coming in for other reason, employees or not. It’s a good feeling when you know God has you right where He wants you.
There are so many great things about working for CCH, it’s hard to specify just one. I’m surrounded by a lot of great, talented people that go above and beyond in many ways for this organization and the patients and employees. I’m proud to be a part of it!
Excellence every day is going the extra mile, treating others how I would like to be treated, and giving my best to everyone, every day. More often than not, people are fighting things a lot of us know nothing about so being kind ALWAYS is continually at the forefront of my mind when I think about excellence every day!”
Thank you, Britni. You are incredible and we’re so lucky that you are a part of our team!
