Thanks for working here Thursday: Adrienne Oliver, MA-C, The Legacy Living and Rehabilitation Center

Campbell County Health is proud of its employees, and we want the CCH family and the Campbell County community to know about the good work that they do for this organization.

Meet Adrienne Oliver, MA-C, who works at The Legacy Living and Rehabilitation Center on the Spruce Neighborhood in Gillette, Wyoming. Adrienne is a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Medication Aide (MA-C), and is currently going through phlebotomy training. She’s been with CCH for nearly 10 years, but been in health care for 14 years—working in home health and hospice, pharmacy, surgery centers, drug rehab centers, hospital medical surgical unit, and emergency department.

She says that she kind of fell into a career in healthcare. “After I found out that I was pregnant with my first son, I decided that I needed a job that would always have a high demand so that I didn’t find myself without a job,” she said. “One day I was looking in the newspaper and saw an ad for CNA. So I took the class that CCH offered, and I have never looked back!”

When asked who her healthcare hero is, Adrienne mentioned Jennifer Clark. “She comes in everyday with a great attitude. It never matters what has happened or how bad the day is, she comes in and does a great job! She always is helping out and the residents absolutely adore her.”

When Adrienne isn’t at work she loves to be outside fishing, camping, doing yard work … “Honestly anything outside; I would be outside all the time if I could. Spending time with family and friends is a huge part, too. Anything my kids are doing I love to watch,” she says.

We asked Adrienne what she likes most about working for CCH, and what excellence every day means to her. Check out her response:

“I just love the residents! They appreciate every little thing you do and are truly the reason we come to work every day. My co-workers definitely make working on Spruce great! We have such great team work among us that it makes working with the residents and meeting their needs easy!

Excellence every day means showing up and doing your best even on days that you don’t want to and it’s rough. Trying even though sometimes it feels like you are getting nowhere and being an advocate for the people we serve.”

Thank you for caring for our residents, Adrienne. We appreciate you!
