Wyoming Orthopedics & Spine is proud to introduce PROMIS®, an outcome measurement tool now being used in the orthopedic clinic in Gillette, Wyoming.
Keeping track of how patients are doing after a procedure is an essential part of the doctor’s job, and that’s where this system will help us improve your experience.
PROMIS®, which stands for Patient-Reported Outcomes Measurement Information System, is an online survey that takes only a few short minutes to complete. It was developed by the National Institute of Health (NIH).
It allows WYOS experts to compare pre- and post-operative pain levels and patient’s functional abilities, in real-time.
This NIH tool is a personalized and customized way for the doctors or physician assistants to understand our patients better, and provide the best orthopedic care in Wyoming!
You may be given an iPad to complete the PROMIS questionnaire during your visit at WYOS—again, this survey may only take a few minutes to complete and will not delay your office visit.
Thank you for the opportunity to help us continually improve and get our patients feeling better!
