CCH Takes Initial Steps to Operational Recovery
- Posted On:
GILLETTE, WY – Campbell County Health (CCH) taking some initial steps back to a recovery of operations after COVID-19, using a gradual approach with patient and staff safety as the first concern.
As of Monday, May 4, the Main Entrance of the Campbell County Memorial Hospital (CCMH) is open. Some elective surgical cases, outpatient imaging radiology services and lab services will reopen to the public.
Campbell County Medical Group clinics are developing plans to see more patients in their offices, although phone visits and virtual visits will continue as options for patient care. These outpatient services will use a phased-in approach where safety comes first, not volume.
All patients and support persons are screened for respiratory symptoms, and temperatures are taken before entering the hospital, or clinic. All patients are given a wristband ate hospital entrances to verify that they have been screened.
Social distancing requirements are practiced in all areas of the facility, at least six feet apart at places like screening areas, patient registration, or in line at the Coffee Shoppe.
All staff, patients, and support persons will be required to wear masks while in CCH facilities. Cloth masks are provided at entrances. Staff will wear masks appropriate to their job and exposure potential. All staff and providers are screened for respiratory symptoms twice per day with temperature checks.
CCH follows the CDC guidelines and is disinfects offices, and public areas with bleach frequently throughout the day. Exam rooms are cleaned after each patient visit to the highest medical standards.
