Thanks for working here this week: Devin Vance, Case Manager

Campbell County Health is proud of its employees, and we want the CCH family and the Campbell County community to know about the good work that they do for this organization.

Meet Devin Vance, a Case Manager at Campbell County Memorial Hospital Behavioral Health Services in Gillette, Wyoming. Devin has worked with CCH for three years, and has earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She is also currently enrolled in the Gillette College Nursing program. For those who don’t know, mental health case managers help patients learn coping skills and create stability in their lives.

Devin was inspired to work in healthcare from the care her sister received. “Watching the nurses and medical professionals take care of my sister during her cancer fight, and then to care for her and our family during her hospice stay influenced me,” she says.

She also calls her health care hero Dr. May in Rapid City. “She is amazing with her patients and pushes them to continue their lifestyle as long as possible. I strive to encourage patient to push to their full potential,” says Devin.

When Devin isn’t work, she enjoys being with her family and friends. They enjoy camping and hiking, as well as getting pedicures with her girls.

We asked Devin what she likes most about working for CCH, and what excellence every day means to her. Check out her response:

“I enjoy all of the employees we have at CCH, and their willingness to step up to do whatever it takes to care for our community and the communities that surround us. The team on BHS is growing and the management encourages growth and is willing to work with us to further our education to bring more experience to the organization.

Excellence Every Day to me to bring your best self to work, to serve the ones that need us and to help one another in the process.”

Devin also had this to say: “I would like to thank everyone I work with and I appreciate the chance my supervisors and managers gave me to work for this amazing company that is making a difference. Not every day is easy and having leaders that will listen is extremely helpful.”

Thank you, Devin, for being your best self when you are at work. We are proud to have you on our team.
