Thanks for working here this week: Kim Lambert, CCMG Cardiology

Campbell County Health is proud of its employees, and we want the CCH family and the Campbell County community to know about the good work that they do for this organization.

Introducing Kim Lambert who is a Registration Specialist with the Campbell County Medical Group Cardiology Clinic in Gillette, Wyoming. Kim has worked with CCH for six years, all of them at the Cardiology Clinic; however, Kim worked in health care for 16 years when she lived in Michigan—working in a Rheumatology Clinic and an Ophthalmology Clinic.

Kim was inspired to work in health care because she has a Type 1 Diabetic child with many challenges.

“This gives me much empathy for others battling some kind of illness of their own. I understand the fear of the unknown,” she says.

When asked about her health care hero, she mentions that there are many people in her life that she could coin a hero; however, right now, she has a huge appreciation for her sister-in-law, Karrah Lamberts.

“Karrah is an oncology nurse in Detroit, Mich. She deals with end-of-life cancer patients and their families coping with death. I admire her strength and compassion,” she says.

When Kim isn’t at work she enjoys spending time with her family. “Aside from my husband, three girls and the family Rottweiler, my passion is in Billiards! I started playing as a single gal and now it’s grown to be a family affair. I have competed statewide (Wyoming/Colorado) and have both individually and team placed in top three the last three years,” she says.

We asked Kim what she likes most about working at CCH, and what excellence every day means to her. Check out her response:

“I take great pride in the care we provide. I take pride in seeing those whom transition from near death to healthy again! The care our doctors provide gives people their quality of life back again—I love seeing that.

I love working with my Cardiology family! I work with some amazing people and I enjoy CCMH because of them.

Excellence every day means that I provide exceptional care with quality and commitment for the betterment of our patient’s lives!”
