Campbell County Health is proud of its employees, and we want the CCH family and the Campbell County community to know about the good work that they do for this organization.
Say hello to Keely Geer, the E-Learning Specialist/LMS Administrator in the Professional Development Department in Gillette, Wyoming. Keely earned an Associate’s of Arts degree from Gillette College, and has worked at CCH for nearly four years.
For those who don’t know, Keely is part of a team that provides annual compliance education, continuing education and assistance with formal education and certificates for all of CCH’s employees. The department partners with several community colleges and universities to offer students clinical experience. Our Health Sciences Education Center is located on the Gillette College campus and provides CCH with the ability to hold several classes concurrently.
Keely was inspired to work in health care because she believes in exceptional care. “I’ve seen what a difference it can make in people’s lives. I want to be a part of making that difference,” she says.
Keely calls her manager Lisa Coleman her healthcare hero. “She is incredibly kind, consistent and always willing to go above and beyond. Lisa has a way of skillfully bringing out the best in other people. I have grown so much professionally under her guidance. I am grateful for her steadfast encouragement and support. Lisa maintains such a high standard of positivity and excellence daily and is diligent in everything she does,” she says.
When she’s not working, Keely enjoys spending time outside of work with family and friends. “For fun, I like to go on date nights with my husband, travel, listen to music, read and create Final Cut Pro videos,” she says.
We asked Keely what she likes most about working for CCH, and what excellence every day means to her. Check out her response:
“I enjoy working at CCH, because I have the opportunity every day to have a part in making healthcare better for our community. I have never worked for a better organization and I am grateful for the truly amazing people that work here.
Excellence every day to me means treating others with kindness. I am here to do what I can to support those around me and help make them successful. I am incredibly thankful to the leaders at CCH who have taken the time and invested in me to help me improve my skills and knowledge.”
Keely also had this to say: “I think being in health care this past year has been taxing on many individuals and I would like to say thank you to all the people who work here at CCH. No matter what job you do, you are needed and you make a difference in the lives of people around you. As an organization, we are a team and each member is vital for the health of our community as a whole.”
Thank you for being a part of our team, Keely. We appreciate you!
