Thanks for working here this week: Robin Ferguson, Information Technology

Campbell County Health is proud of its employees, and we want the CCH family and the Campbell County community to know about the good work that they do for this organization.
Allow us to introduce Robin Ferguson, a Financial Analyst in the CCH Information Technology (IT) department in Gillette, Wyoming. Robin has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and has worked at CCH for 10 years; however, she’s been in health care for 12 years total, working as a medical assistant in an oncology clinic out of college.
Robin was attracted to a career in healthcare because she wanted to help people. “I knew that I wanted to be in a position that helped people, working in direct patient care wasn’t my first choice, so supporting the individuals that do behind the scenes with technology is rewarding to me,” she says.
When asked who she calls her health care heroes, the answer was easy: all of our frontline healthcare workers! “Thank you for all your hard work during these difficult times. Thank you for your daily commitment to helping our community. Thank you for your personal sacrifices of time away from your families. Thank you for keeping us safe!” she says.
When she’s not at work, Robin says that she loves spending time outdoors, taking road trips, and being with family and friends.
We asked Robin what she likes most about working for CCH and what excellence every day means to her. Check out her response:
"I love being able to support others and assist in making their day to day tasks easier with technology. Whether it is something simple or complex, being able to build something that helps others is something that I take pride in every day.
We have a great team in IT. Each member has a critical role in supporting our organization to care for patients. IT plays a vital role in patient care by giving the tools to the frontline caregivers so they can give excellent patient care. This is what gives me the passion to work in IT every day.
Excellence Every Day means that you are always going above and beyond. I try to model this every day no matter what is asked of me. Having a positive attitude and always supporting our team of employees.”
Thank you Robin for being so dedicated to helping others. We are proud to have you on our team.
