Upcoming Health Care Classes, Trainings 2021

GILLETTE, WY – From first aid and CPR and Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Courses, to EMS University Symposium and HealthU workshops, Campbell County Health has a host of classes and trainings throughout the year for the public.
- Emergency Medical Technician Basic (EMT-B) Course: The EMT Basic course offers a rigorous approach to emergency or pre-hospital care. Registration is required by August 9; class starts August 23. Learn more at www.cchwyo.org/emt.
- HealthyU Diabetes Workshop: A free six-week health workshop for people managing type 2 Diabetes and their friends, family and caregivers. Offered every Wednesday from August 25-September 28. Learn more at www.cchwyo.org/healthyu
- Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) Courses: CNAs provide individualized attention to patients and residents and are the primary caregivers in meeting the day-to-day needs of patients. The next CNA course starts on September 1, 2021. There is a mandatory class meeting a month before the class starts. Learn more at www.cchwyo.org/cna.
- EMS University Symposium: EMS University provides an opportunity for emergency medical professionals to learn and discuss relevant patient care and management issues, as well as a chance to network, meet, and stay connected with other EMS professionals. Professionals can join virtually to earn up to 24 hours of continuing medical education (CME). The event takes place from September 9-11. Register at www.cchwyo.org/emsu.
