Kid Clinic drop off location for Edible Prairie Project Weekend Meals Program
- Posted On:
The Campbell County Medical Group Kid Clinic is a drop off location for the Edible Prairie Project's Summer Weekend Meals for Kids program.
Each weekend, during the 12-week summer break, children will receive a kid-friendly, nutritious, and filling food package that will include two breakfast items, two lunch items, two dinner items, and two healthy snacks. Fresh and local produce is also available so kids and their families can have access to their favorite veggies. (An example of what was included in the first weekend food bags of the summer season is pictured.)
Weekend food bags will be delivered to children attending:
- Boys & Girls Clubs of Campbell County, 410 Lakeside Drive
- Children's Developmental Services of Campbell County, 1801 S. 4-J Road
- Kid Clinic, 702 S. Kendrick Avenue
At the Kid Clinic, the bags are delivered on Wednesday, and parents are asked to get the bags by Thursday or Friday. The child receiving the bag does have to be a patient at the Clinic.
