Updates to Visiting Policies at Campbell County Health March 2021

GILLETTE, WY – The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) and the Wyoming Department of Health have provided new guidance regarding visiting at The Legacy Living and Rehabilitation Center. In person-visiting can resume under the following criteria beginning Wednesday, March 17, 2021:
- All visits must be scheduled in advance. Visits can be scheduled no sooner than one week in advance. The first visits begin Wednesday, March 17, 2021.
- Visits are scheduled Monday-Friday between 9-11 am and 1-3 pm; each session concludes at the designated time (i.e., 11 am and 3 pm), and all visitors are required to leave.
- Each visitor is limited to no more than two visits per week.
- Other visiting options include virtual, window and theater visits, and must be scheduled.
The following protocols will be in place for all in-person visits at The Legacy:
- Symptom screening is required upon arrival, and no visiting if sick or symptomatic.
- Wearing the required PPE for the entirety of the visit is mandatory, and will provided for each visit.
- In room visits are limited to one visitor at a time.
- Visits will occur in the resident’s room only. Visits are not allowed in the living room, bistro or other common/open areas
Visitation will be discontinued immediately if there are confirmed COVID-19 cases in The Legacy and/or the county positive rate increases to 10% and above.
CCH continues to require all employees, patients, visitors, support persons and volunteers to be screened upon entrance and wear a mask when in any CCH facilities, which includes:
- Campbell County Memorial Hospital (including the Main Clinic and Walk-in Clinic and all clinics within)
- Emergency Medical Services
- Fourth Street Building
- Home Health
- Home Medical Resources
- Kid Clinic
- Pioneer Building
- Stocktrail Building
- The Legacy
- and the Wright Clinic and Occupational Health
