Campbell County Health to Cancel Inpatient Elective Surgeries

GILLETTE, WY – Campbell County Health (CCH) is cancelling elective inpatient surgeries at Campbell County Memorial Hospital starting Monday, September 27 through Friday, October 1, 2021 to ensure that inpatient beds are available for emergent admissions, and enable staff to be reassigned to work in the areas of greatest need in the organization.

Outpatient surgeries (where the patient does not have to be hospitalized overnight), urgent and emergent surgeries will continue to be performed. Inpatient surgical capacity will be evaluated on a weekly basis, with a goal of returning to performing inpatient elective surgeries as soon as possible.

Patients should consult their surgeon with questions on the status of any scheduled elective inpatient surgeries.
