Recognizing our Veterans
- Posted On:
Veterans Day is celebrated each year on November 11. This is a day to recognize our veterans for their patriotism, love of country and willingness to serve and sacrifice for the common good to protect the freedoms we enjoy.
For the veterans who served or currently serve, and for those who are residents at The Legacy Living and Rehabilitation Center, or provide professional services at Campbell County Health, thank you for selflessly putting aside your own needs to protect our nation. We are eternally grateful to you.
For those who don't know, Veterans Day was originally referred to as Armistice Day, which represented the cessation of hostilities in World War I on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month in 1918. In 1954, after World War II and the Korean War, Congress amended the Act of 1938 to honor American veterans of all wars.
Here are the veterans who live at The Legacy, work for CCH, and provide care for our patients.
