Welcome Dr. Brittney Goeken - Campbell County Medical Group's Newest Pediatrician

GILLETTE, Wyo. - July 27, 2023 - Campbell County Medical Group is excited to announce the upcoming arrival of Dr. Brittney Goeken, MD, to our Main Clinic as a pediatrician. Dr. Goeken brings her passion for working with children and dedication to providing exceptional medical care to the northeast Wyoming community. Originally from Cheyenne, Dr. Goeken wanted something new and felt an instant connection here in Gillette.

"I was looking for something new," said Dr. Goeken. "I liked the community here, the other providers, and thought it would be a great fit."

A graduate of the University of Washington School of Medicine, Dr. Goeken completed her pediatric residency at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson, Arizona.

Dr. Goeken always knew she wanted to be a doctor; there was no particular moment; she just always knew. Throughout her journey, Dr. Goeken had actively engaged in volunteer work, particularly in areas involving children, such as at her local library and children's ministries at her church. While in medical school, she discovered her calling was to continue working with children as a pediatrician.

Reflecting on her path to becoming a provider, Dr. Goeken said, "My whole life, I had been saying to myself, 'I'm going to become a doctor.'"

She recalled the care she provided to a two-month-old diagnosed with cancer and how three years later, he was thriving. Moments like these continue to fuel her passion and commitment to the lives of her young patients and their families.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Dr. Goeken enjoys a variety of hobbies and interests. Recently, she welcomed a new addition to her family—a playful puppy. She enjoys hiking, reading, cooking, and watching hockey during her leisure time. Above all, she cherishes spending quality time with her loved ones and friends outside of work.

Dr. Goeken's arrival at Campbell County Medical Group's Main Clinic strengthens our commitment to providing comprehensive pediatric care to the Campbell County community and the northeast Wyoming region.
