Campbell County Health Congratulates Scholarship Recipients
GILLETTE, Wyo. – May 17, 2023 – Campbell County Health recently awarded scholarships to eight exceptional high school graduates in Campbell County. CCH awarded four Board of Trustees Scholarships and four Volunteer Services Scholarships.
Congratulations to Sophia Wagner, Shantel Smith, Kiara Schofield, and Hallie Cole, who all received the Board of Trustees Scholarship. And congratulations to Samantha Hill, Carlie Niemitalo, Jillian Bankenbush, and Jadeyn Snyder, who all received the Volunteer Services Scholarship.
Four $5000 Board of Trustees Scholarships are awarded to Campbell County students pursuing a healthcare career each year. Past scholarship recipients have become registered nurses, physical therapists, exercise physiologists, and doctors.
Typically, three $1500 Volunteer Services Scholarships are awarded yearly to CCH Junior Volunteer program students. However, this year’s exceptional pool of Junior Volunteers resulted in four scholarship awards. Junior Volunteers serve primarily in the summer and learn valuable skills like customer service and the value of helping others. They also experience the fast-paced healthcare environment and are exposed to many career opportunities.
The eight scholarship recipients exemplify the spirit of CCH and Campbell County, and we are proud to support them in cultivating their future success and excellence.
