Applications Open for Summer 2024 CCH Camp Med

GILLETTE, Wyo. - April 16, 2024 - Campbell County Health (CCH) is hosting three sessions of Camp Med this summer. Camp Med is a one-day camp to introduce 11 and 12 year olds to careers in health care. Participants may visit various departments such as surgery, radiology, the Lab, and Rehab as well as learn CPR and tour EMS. Previous campers are not allowed to repeat the camp so others have a chance to attend.
This summer’s Camp Med schedule:
Friday, June 28 from 9 am-4 pm
Friday, July 19 from 9 am-4 pm
Tuesday, July 23 from 9 am-4 pm
All sessions take place at Campbell County Memorial Hospital (CCMH), 501 S. Burma Avenue in Gillette, Wyoming.
Camp Med is free for participants; however, space is limited—there is room for 12participants per session. Applications are taken on a first-come, first-served basis, and can be downloaded at https://www.cchwyo.org/about-us/ways-to-give/volunteers/. Applications are due by Friday, May 17,and may be returned to the Information Desk in the hospital lobby or Volunteer Services, located on the ground floor of the hospital in Marketing and Communications, Monday-Thursday, 8 am-4 pm.
