Brittany Thrall APRN Joins Campbell County Medical Group Cardiology Clinic as Nurse Practitioner

GILLETTE, Wyo. - June 14, 2024 - Campbell County Medical Group (CCMG) is pleased to announce the addition of Brittany Thrall, APRN, to its Cardiology Clinic. A Gillette native, Thrall's journey in healthcare has brought her back to her roots, where she is excited to serve the community she calls home.

Brittany Thrall moved to Gillette during her elementary school years, left for college, and returned, bringing her expertise and a deep passion for healthcare. Her interest in healthcare was sparked during high school, leading her to become a long-term care certified nursing assistant (CNA).

"I became a long-term care CNA and really loved it. I enjoyed taking care of people's loved ones, and I found a lot of happiness in that," Thrall shared.

Although she initially intended to remain in long-term care, an inspiring professor with a background in emergency medicine and cardiology shifted her career path. Thrall's career at Campbell County Health (CCH) has been diverse, with roles in the daycare and emergency department. In May 2020, as an RN, she became CCH's first Daisy Award recipient, a testament to her exceptional care and dedication.

Encouraged by friends and colleagues, including nurse practitioner, Jacklyn Baker, Thrall pursued a nurse practitioner program. Baker, who now works in the Walk-In Clinic, had a similar career trajectory and has been a significant influence on Thrall. Thrall completed a rotation with CCMG Cardiology APRN, Whitney Fevold during her first clinical semester.

"I loved how intellectually stimulating it [cardiology] was," said Thrall. The camaraderie and respect among the CCMG Cardiology team also fostered a desire in Thrall to join them.

As an APRN, Thrall is dedicated to treating patients with the same care and compassion she would offer her own family.

"If you just stay in line with that principal foundation [treating patients as you would want your family to be treated], the rest of your job just flows from there, and that's how we should be in healthcare," she said.

Thrall is eager to leverage CCH's extensive resources to connect patients with the support they need to adhere to their care plans and make meaningful improvements in their well-being. Outside of work, Thrall enjoys spending time with her family, whether camping or supporting her children in their athletic endeavors. She also loves gardening, baking, and paddle boarding.

Campbell County Medical Group is thrilled to welcome Brittany Thrall, APRN, to the Cardiology Clinic--confident that her expertise, compassion, and commitment will enhance the exceptional care the community can expect at the CCMG Cardiology Clinic.
